We are registered with CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspection) and fully compliant with the Care Standards Act 2000 National Minimum Standards.
Freedom Socialcare believe that everybody should have the opportunity to live independently in their own home with dignity, freedom of choice and control over their own lives.
Assessing your needs
Before providing a service to you, a member of our experienced team will need to meet with you in your own home to conduct a care and risk assessment and discuss your individual needs. Please feel free to have a family member, friend, advocate or any other important person you wish at this meeting. At the meeting please do not be afraid to make any comments in how we can assist you, because if we can we will.
Once an assessment and care plan has been conducted for you, you will then be allocated a representative within the office to deal with your day to day needs and staffing issues; although anyone can help if you should have any queries or problems. The representative will meet with the person who conducted your care and risk assessment to decide who would be a good match to work with you and assist your daily living. Once the staff that will work with you have been selected we will contact you (and/or your representative) to discuss the best time to start introducing people to you. We will keep in regular contact with you (and/or your representative) to find out how you feel the worker assists your life. Should you at any point feel that the member of staff does not fit in well with your needs then please let us know and we will do our best to rectify any problems.
For your reassurance, all staff who are employed as domiciliary care/support staff by Freedom Socialcare undertake a rigorous induction and training procedure before commencing work with any service user.
As with ALL Freedom Socialcare employees, domiciliary care/support workers have a minimum of 1 years previous experience or caring and/or supporting people, are Criminal Record Bureau checked to enhanced level, have thorough checks made in reference to their previous employment, have the highest standards of training provided and are made aware of each service users individual needs before being allowed to commence working in a service users home.
Freedom Socialcare will endeavour to ensure that continuity of staff always remains high, therefore saving you the inconvenience of introductions and having to familiarise yourself to new staff. Although on the rare occasions when it is not possible to have your regular worker(s), Freedom Socialcare will always aim to select an individual who has the right training, skills and personality to work with you.
Please let your representative know at anytime if your needs change or if you have any complaints, compliments or comments, we are always happy to help you.
